High hopes

Welcome to The Garden and The Storm blog. Can I get you a cup of coffee or a mug with tea? Maybe a hot chocolate would be perfect.
Whether you feel peaceful and looking for some rest, whether you find yourself desperate - maybe even full of anger - you may find here what you want. If not, you might just find what you need.
The thunders may be scary but come closer and check how the lightnings are surprisingly beautiful. They will light the darkness and after the sky is clear there will come the beautiful singing of the birds.
Their music is the sound of HOPE.
A hope that emerges not from illusion, but from the courage and thirst for freedom. And for that I would like to begin here with some clear hopes I carry within myself.

I hope we allow ourselves to be truly sad but also create some space where we can breath, show a smile and even laugh. I hope the amount of times we get lost in wonderings and comparisons does not erase our own path. I hope we learn to forgive ourselves and others but also start to remember instead of forgetting, so we can finally take the first steps into changing. I hope we are less hypocrite and more compassionate. I hope we are humble and bold in the same measure.
I hope atheists, Christians and religious people take a look at the suffering in the world and care for that like they care for their own comfort and ambitions.
I hope we learn to be humans with or without a God.
I hope the people get together to watch the politicians and make demands instead of separating themselves in order to promote them.
I hope the children are protected and the elders are respected.
I hope narcisistic psycopaths and other predators are criminally judged and dealt with for what they are and don't be mixed with the rest of humanity who is capable of feeling love and empathy anymore, and I hope it happens all around the world.
And finally...

I hope you are honest enough to resent and brave enough to forgive and be fair.
I hope you grow to be who you truly are but also hope you meet again the child you used to be and I hope you two cry, and play and take a nap together on a rainy afternoon.
I hope you notice amazing gifts around you and be grateful for them but also hope you grieve when you need to.
I hope that when you close your eyes you can:
Feel the wind;
Listen to birds and waves;
Smell the humid air of deep green forests;
See the world from high mountains;
Find out that inside of you there are places no human has ever tasted.

May you find here your own hopes to be nourished, build good days in your life and conquer a strong spirit to act in this world.
With truth and love, Duda.
